A pressure vessel is a sealed container that is subjected to gas or liquid pressure internally or externally, and has high safety requirements. Pressure vessels are mainly cylindrical, with a few being spherical or other shapes. Cylindrical pressure vessels are usually composed of parts and components such as cylinder, head, connecting pipe, flange, etc. The higher the working pressure of the pressure vessel, the thicker the wall of the cylinder should be.
It can be further divided into four categories based on its role in the manufacturing process:
1. Storage pressure vessel (C, where spherical tank is B): mainly used for storing and holding media such as gases, liquids, liquefied gases, etc., such as various types of storage tanks.
2. Reaction pressure vessel (R): It is mainly used to complete the physical and chemical reactions of the medium. Such as reactors, reaction kettles, decomposition pots, vulcanization tanks, decomposition towers, polymerization towers, high-pressure kettles, ultra-high pressure kettles, synthesis towers, shift furnaces, cooking pots, steam balls, steam pressure kettles, gas generators, etc.
3. Heat exchange pressure vessel (E): It is mainly used to complete the heat exchange of the medium. Such as shell and tube waste heat boilers, heat exchangers, coolers, condensers, evaporators, heaters, disinfection pots, dyeing machines, drying cylinders, steam fryers, preheating pots, solvent preheaters, steamers, steam generators, electric steam generators, gas generators, water jackets, etc.
